Sources confirmed to EWAusiello that Annette O’Toole will reprise her role as Clark Kent’s mother later this season! The "re-appearance" will probably fall during May sweeps to boost ratings and excite the hardcore Smallville fans. The last time O’Toole appeared was in season 6 when Martha moved to Washington to become a U.S. senator. Ausiello also hints to an unexptected surprise linked to her return.
