More Screenshots of Mortal Kombat vs. the DC Universe!

Midway has released the first in-game screenshots for "Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe" along with some brand new renders — check’em out below. That’s cool and all, but the bigger news is that the Flash is in those screenshots. That’s right, he might have been unannounced before, but we now know that Barry Allen or Wally West or Bart Allen is in this game as the Flash.

Along with the art and Flash, Midway also announced that it is planning a panel for the game at the San Diego Comic-Con. Friday, July 25, 2008, Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon and comic book writer Jimmy Palmiotti will be on hand for "Worlds Collide: The Making of Midway’s Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe." Aside from chatting about how the game came to be, Boon and Palmiotti will also offer an exclusive look at never-before-seen gameplay, unveil some new characters, and host a Q&A session. If you make it into the 11:15 a.m. panel, you’ll also get an exclusive, limited edition Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe Comic-con 2008 poster.
