The second full length theatrical trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man has been released by Sony Pictures and it features tons of action packed new footage (including the Lizard) from Marc Webb's highly anticipated reboot of the franchise.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance – leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Cartoon Network has started airing this promo for the new Batman series premiering later this year. Called Beware the Batman, the new show will be the first to adapt the caped crusader with CGI animation. You can watch the teaser below and the official description after the break:

I don't usually follow the release of a movie so closely, but this one has already got me hooked and wanting more!

Synopsis:

"Three high school students make an incredible discovery, leading to their developing uncanny powers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities and use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides begin to take over." 

DC announced this week that their "Batman Facebook page crossed the 2 million Likes mark. More than 2 million people have signaled that they are fans of the Caped Crusader, a sentiment we whole-heartedly agree with.

It’s no surprise that so many people feel this way. Well it's not more Heroes.  It's not even comic book related, more like fairy tales.  That's right. Fairy Tales but with a Constantine type twist.  I've given up feeling hopeful for scifi on television, but this one might have a chance. It's certainly gotten my attention.  Let's all hope it has what it takes!

Remember the fairy tales your parents used to tell you before bedtime? Well, those weren't stories, they were warnings. Coming this Fall to NBC. Fridays 9/8c.
