Cartoon Network has started airing this promo for the new Batman series premiering later this year. Called Beware the Batman, the new show will be the first to adapt the caped crusader with CGI animation. You can watch the teaser below and the official description after the break:
"Superboy returns to Project Cadmus, where he learns the top-secret genetics lab may have created another Super-clone. Meanwhile, the Justice League convenes at the Watchtower to discuss an important matter."
(Did you get the "Superman I"/Gene Hackman homage? If you did kudos to you Superfan!)
Things are only heating up on Cartoon Network’sYoung Justice, as series producers Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti lay down the groundwork for the season two twenty-episode story arc “Invasion.” That storyline will have the team as well as numerous other DC heroes and villains involved (approximately 120 of them, in fact) as Earth is threatened by several alien species. The network has released a three minute clip that includes highlights from recent episodes, with a glimpse ahead to more of season one and, especially, “Invasion.”
The Man Of Steel comes face-to-face with powerful villains, daunting rivals and a society more interested in retribution than justice when a new, less-ethical breed of super hero arrives in Metropolis in Superman Versus The Elite, the next entry in the popular, ongoing series of DC Universe Animated Original Movies.
Produced by Warner Premiere, DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation, the all-new, PG-13 rated film arrives June 12, 2012 from Warner Home Video as a Blu-ray™ Combo Pack ($24.98 SRP) and DVD ($19.98 SRP), On Demand and for Download. Both the Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD will include an UltraViolet™ Digital Copy.
