JOR-EL GIVES LOIS SUPER POWERS; KARA RETURNS — Clark (Tom Welling) takes Lois (Erica Durance) to the Fortress to get Jor-El’s (voiced by Terrance Stamp) blessing for their marriage.” Jor-El bestows a unique wedding gift on the couple – he gives Lois Clark’s super powers so she can see what it’s like to be him for a day. Unfortunately, the Toyman (guest star Chris Gautheir) has returned to Metropolis, so Lois must go up against the notorious villain instead of Clark. Meanwhile, Oliver (Justin Hartley) searches for the Bow of Orion, which he believes will remove the Omega symbol from his skull, and runs into Kara (guest star Laura Vandervoort), who is also on a mission to stop Darkseid. There are only three episodes of Smallville left, but production on the show has already wrapped. Maynards is currently in the process of getting ready to liquidate all Smallville possessions. The three day sale will be at 7320 Buller Ave. Burnaby, BC and at 6228 Beresford St. Burnaby, BC beginning on Today April 28th and running through April 30th. 

TVGuide.com gives us our first look at Laura Vandervoort's final return to "Smallville" in the role of Kara, aka Supergirl, in the May 6th episode titled "Prophecy", in which she joins forces with Oliver Queen to find a way to remove the Omega symbol from his skull.

"Oliver is faced with this cold reality that he's not going to be able to get rid of this infection just by willing it away," Hartley tells TVGuide.com.

"He goes on this journey to try to get rid of it." Along the way, Kara and Oliver will "find out things about each other," he says, "that everything isn't what it seems, that you can't judge a book by its cover." Source: TVGuide.com.

Amazon.com is now listing the complete-series Smallville DVD set at $224, over $100 less than the suggested retail price.

Variety.com reports that German actress Antje Traue has been cast as Faora, the female Kryptonian villain for the up-coming "Man of Steel" film.

Traue was last seen playing the female lead alongside Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster in Overture Films' "Pandorum."
