Check out this drawing of Brandon Routh as the Kingdom Come Superman

If you haven’t heard, Brandon Routh who played Superman in the 2006 movie recently revealed at San Diego Comic Con that he will be portraying the role of the Kingdom Come version of Superman in the CW’s upcoming ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’ five-part event.

The Kingdom Come version of Superman is an alternate reeality of the Man of Steel who first appeared as the main character of the 1996 Elseworlds miniseries ‘Kingdom Come’ written by Mark Waid and Alex Ross with art by Ross.

Following Routh’s exciting announcement, Ross took to Instagram to share a sketch of his vision of the former “Superman Returns” actor as the Kingdom Come version of Superman. Check it out below:
